Before the program ended, Laarni didn’t forget to leave ample pieces of advice to those who are battling with depression.
“Always live a simple life and be contented with what you have. Never detach yourself from your family and friends. Involve yourself in helpful activities such as traveling, going to the gym, reading good books/bible, writing down your thoughts, be optimistic, never compare yourself to others to avoid frustrations, listening to happy music, be generous and be grateful. Surround yourself with good friends who are always there to support you and bring out the best in you. And most importantly, talk to God because he’s just there to listen and help you.”
She also mentioned to always keep your friends and God close to you.
“Sa bible, lagi kong binabasa ‘yung Book of Job. Sabi doon, kahit mawala na daw ang lahat – money, material things, family, mga anak niya, asawa, lahat-lahat pero hindi talaga siya bumitaw kay God. Binigyan pa siya ng sakit. So ‘yun! Sabi ko okay lang, kahit mawala kayong lahat, mawala ‘yung fame, basta ang importante nandiyan lang Siya.”
Laarni Lozada is truly an epitome of a strong-independent woman. Let’s also never forget the line she uttered at the end of the show, “After mong madapa, babangon ka”.
